- It was before the era of javascript frameworks, so I used vanilla javascript to develop the application.
- HTML, CSS and jQuery were the go-to technologies back then.
- Understood the business problem and developed a solution that was easy to use and maintain.

I worked many years at Doukas school, preparing the next generation for the Greek National Competition in Informatics by teaching them algorithms and problem-solving techniques using the language C++.
Currently, I am a member of the Organizing Committee of PDP and the maintainer of Hellenico, where the National competion is hosted.
For myself, competing in programming contests really boosted my engineering skills and set me up for success in my career. Here's how:
